PCCCP was conceived in 1992 by two educators who discovered there was not a licensed infant-preschool program in the Linn-Benton area. From there they devoted many years growing PCCCP into the best licensed child care center in Albany.

For the last 20 years PCCCP has served hundreds of families, taking care of children from infancy through kindergarten preparation. PCCCP’s philosophy of learning is to recognize and encourage each child at the level of development that they are at. We delight in each child’s curiosity and imagination. Time is given for self growth and activities are planned for specific developmental areas. Children are given opportunity to share their individuality and grow compassion and appreciation for others.

The Learning Loft was added to our center as a part-time preschool for children to experience socialization within a group and become ready for kindergarten.

PCCCP and the Learning Loft’s head preschool teachers became trained in “Handwriting Without Tears,” a fun way to learn handwriting through music, blocks, and finally, pencils. Our children are more prepared than ever to enter kindergarten with confidence and a love for learning!
