Read about our Spanish program.

PCCCP is proud to offer Spanish lessons to our preschool aged children. Our Spanish instructor, Teacher Valerie, taught kindergarten and first grade for many years in Colorado and most recently taught a dual immersion program in an Albany kindergarten classroom. However, Valerie’s heart had been telling her to “go to preschool.” The use of games, stories, music and art to teach Spanish has the kids excited to learn.

On the developmental level, we know that these are the key years for language development. Studies of the brain have shown that it is just as easy for young children to learn two languages as it is to learn one. We have seen the positive impacts of our Spanish class on the children’s language development and comprehension, and know you will see them too!

We continue to grow and improve our staff and teaching techniques through ongoing professional training. By staying up on current research and connecting with other early childhood educators, PCCCP and the Learning Loft are at the top of the class! If you are interested in a tour, please contact us.
